Clean early in the morning while the glass is cool. Use a soft brush or sponge and clean, soft water. Never stand on the panels, and never spray cold water on hot glass. Keep water away from the inverter and the junction boxes.

How often should solar panels be cleaned in Bharuch?
In town, every three to four weeks in the dry months is usually enough. Near the Ankleshwar, Panoli and Dahej estates, soot builds up faster, so every two weeks works better. In the monsoon the rain does most of the work, but check after storms.
Does cleaning really increase generation?

Can I wash panels with borewell water?
It is better not to. Hard borewell water leaves white scale on the glass as it dries, and the scale blocks light. Use stored rainwater or filtered water with a soft brush.
