What people ask
How close is this to the real quotation?
Close on price, because the rate per kWp is the rate we quote. The generation figure is a Bharuch yearly average, so a shaded or north-facing roof will come in lower and a clear south-facing terrace a little higher. The site visit settles it and costs nothing.
Do I really get ₹78,000 from the government?
For a home, yes, up to ₹78,000: ₹30,000 for each of the first two kW and ₹18,000 for the third. We file the PM Surya Ghar application and the net metering with DGVCL, and the money comes to your bank account. A shop or a factory gets no central subsidy, which the calculator accounts for.
Can I install a smaller system than it suggests?
Yes. The calculator sizes to cover your whole bill. Plenty of customers start with 2 or 3 kW to stay inside the subsidy slab and add panels later. Tell us the budget and we will size to that instead.
